My friend, sister, and I were not scared because we know that if a ghost does show up, that is just another person. But there is only thing. Nothing showed up. How do you ghost? Did you ever talk to one of them? Can you give me some tips? Did you ever see one? Do you have a specialty, meaning poltergeists, avengers, message bringers, or haunters? I love all that freaky stuff. I got a book from the book order at school. It also has good tips, but I need one from an actual ghost hunter. To answer your questions, yes I have seen ghosts. Mostly they look just like people and stay there only a few seconds. To talk to them just talk like you would talk to a living person. If a ghost is doing something such as opening and closing doors, you can just say something like "Please stop slamming the doors." usually that will work.  I am not sure what you mean by "avenger", but I have seen several different types of ghosts. I don't have any specialty.  I would strongly advise against doing any rituals. You never know what type of spirit may contact you. Stay away from ouija boards. Feel free to write any time:-)

A. The Bermuda triangle is a  mysterious area in the Atlantic Ocean where paranormal events and unexplained disappearances are alleged to occur. It is bounded by Florida, Bermuda, and Puerto Rico. It is also called the Devil's Triangle, Limbo of the Lost, Hoodoo Sea and the Twilight Zone. I have never heard of anyone contacting someone who was lost in the Bermuda Triangle but there are some superstitions about ghosts being present there.

Specifically, there is a large area of very little wind that in the days of sailing ships this area was feared with good reason. Ships often were stuck in this area for long periods. Drinking water supplies got lower and lower as the crews waited for a wind to allow them to sail away. As the sailors ran out of drinking water, ships carrying horses sometimes had to throw them overboard as they died of thirst, sometimes while the horses were still alive. Superstitious sailors used to believe that the ghosts of sailors who died of thirst even the ghosts of horses haunted these waters.

Some people believe that the islands of the region were used by pirates and haunted by the ghosts of their victims.  Still others believe that it is the ghosts of pirates and pirate ships are the cause of the disappearance of ships and planes in the area. There are many other theories such as UFO's and storms. I have never heard f anyone contacting a ghost from within the Bermuda Triangle.

Q. Hi my name is Deanna I know you probably are going to ask for money for you to answer me but just hear me out. Okay my grown up friend got into this meditating thing were you r supose to become one with god and all that stuff. Well she got us in it take mind i am only 12. Well i though that it was pretty cool cause you sit cross legged and do that ummmmmmmmm thing over and over agian. Okay well there was somthing that my mom just didnt like about her ( the lady who did the meditating) and there was somthing she didnt like about my mom. so any ways she took all of the people in her meditating group to this thing to be one with nature and god and stuff. My mom wouldnt let me go because she didnt trust Her ( the meditating lady)( ill just call her jana) Well my grown up friend went because she is grown up and she can do what ever she wants to do. Well when she went to that camp thing they saw angels (suposely) Thats what Jana said. Well my mom said that i couldnt go any more because she said that somthing she didnt like about jana. but my grown up friend still went. one day while they were meditating ( there was no wind out side) the door flew open ( and it was locked!) and then she said that there were times when you would here all these bangs and clashing of pots and pan in the kitchen. Well one day while i went to go eat dinner at my grown up friends house my mom started to see these things in the corner of the dinning room. and then my grown up friend and her husband started seeing them too. Well all of a sudden when i turned my head i saw this white fog sort of thing underneath my chin. ( i hate to say this but i started to cry) i was soo scared. well when we got in the car to go home  my mom smelled cigarrette smoke and felt this cold feeling. She thinks that it was my grand father that i never met. Well any ways the last time my grown up friend went to the meeting Jana the meditating lady started saying that she was god and that u have to put her in front of god. Well after that we new that she was a bad person. But what was the scary thing about it was that we saw all those shadows and stuff what r they ?
My mom said that they were coming to protect us.

Okay when i was little i used to have a fake grandma since i never had one ( dont laugh)
Well any ways when i was telling my mom about my grandma when i grew up she said that i never had one. then i said that i did and that she lived in my house and that i was the one that always feed her and she mostly stayed in my room. i also some how knew that i couldnt feed her eggs because she was allergic. ( no one told me this i was only 2) i told her about it when i was 5. Well any ways my mom said that my grand ma had died 3 years before i was born i could have sworn that i would always see my grand ma was she a ghost?
Okay last story i promise
One day while i was coming home from that meditating thing u know what i am talking about.
Well one day while i was coming home from that meditaing thing all of a sudden i started cussing out my mom ( now i am not a goodie goodie but i would never cuss out my mom i swear! ) Well any ways the next morning i woke up like normal and like nothing happened and my mom was up set at me and i didnt know why then she told me the hole story i didnt remember anythig. I talked to this other web site that was dealing with ghosts and demons and they said that it was a demon that possesed me. Is that true?
Okay so i know you probably wont write me back and if you do u will ask for money but i thought you probably would like to hear it i mean i had to tell some one but if you can just write me back as a friend and not as a customer that would be great!

A. First of all, a paranormal investigator who really wants to help...especially a kid...will never ask for money...so NEVER give them any!
From what you have told me I tend to agree with your mom, stay away from that lady and from the house where you saw stuff. You don't know those people that well and that may be doing things besides juust meditation that cauld call spirits to the area. Your mom is richt in thinking that the spirits may have been there to protect you, btu I would stay away anyway. A spirit protecting you from something should make you feel happy, not really scared. Stay away just in case! As for the cursing, it is very very very rare that a demon will possess anyone. Sometimes we are aounnd people who are not so nice and it can affect our mood. Sometimes people are around a person like that and then start to argue with people for no reason. It's just the negative energy effecting you.
It is quite possible that you saw your grandmom. Lots of kids see ghosts...the younger they are the more they can see. Maybe your grandmom just wanted to meet you since she crossed over before you were born.
One more piece of advice...listen to your mom!! Sometimes you may think she is nuts or being unfair about letting you do something , (like my kids think I am...I have a son your age and he thinks I am looney sometimes). You won't see it now, but when you grow up you will understand why she did the things she did.

A. What happened to you is called "Sleep Paralysis". (Paralysis meant you can't move.) Sometimes people call it "Old Hag Syndrome" because in the old days people used to think that this happened because a witch was holding you down or sitting on you. Of course this is not true:-) Old Hag Syndrome can happen men, women or kids. In fact, it happens to about 15 percent of the population at least once in a lifetime. It can occur while the person is sleeping during the day or night. It occurs all over the world and has been happening to people since ancient times! Doctors have studied old hag syndrome and have found a way to explain it. When you are in a deep sleep, your brain turns off your body's muscle function so we can't move around too much (paralysis). It does this to keep us from sleep-walking or trying to do the things we are dreaming about. When we are somewhere between a deep sleey and waking up our muscles we will be able to move our muscles again. Sometimes the body takes a bit too long to turn off the paralysis, so we wake up before we can start to move, so for a a few seconds or up to a minute, we are still paralyzed. Sometimes we even see things like colors or people in the room when there is nobody there. it's part of our dream. This would explaine why you felt like you were frozen in your bed! Doctors say there are a few things you can do to prevent this from happening. They are:

• get enough sleep
• reduce stress
• exercise regularly (but not too close to bedtime)

keep a regular sleep schedule

A. Different people perceive paranormal phenomena in different ways. Some people see ghosts. Some hear ghosts. Others sense emotions or energy. It is quite possible that the sound you heard was a ghost, but it could also besomething else. It could be someone in another room or someone outside your house that you are hearing. If  the only unusual thing going on is the sound I don't think your house is haunted.

Q2. we have a tape recorder we left itin my room and then we brung it out and listend to it and we heard voices . before that we had loud bangs it knocked the picture down. my older sisters frends wont come over any more they heard scratching in the sauna room . my little sister talks to them and she says there is someone with holes in his face.

Q3. my mom and dad know. I am 9 and mysisters are 4 and 16 but heather doesnt live here anymore. Dad ignors it and mom said it is a norml thing and she had this when she was little too. my little sister brung one home when she came home from haveing surgery. a  boy who makes ugly faces at her. i dont see the ghosts like mom and my little sister and I hear them thogh. A3. Your mom is right, it IS a normal thing for some people. Some people are more sensitive than others and will hear or see spirite wherever they go. Thay may be in your friend's house also, but your friends are not as senstitve as you and your mom so they dont see them.

Q. There are lots of reasons why a ghost could be in your school. Maybe she enjoys all the energy that the students have around them. Maybe she went to that same school and likes to come back to visit. Don't be surprised because she looks so innocent. Remember, ghosts are only people. Just because she may be back visiting doesn't mean she can't still be sweet and innocent. She probably does not mean to scare you.

Q. Well, most of this has been going on for most of my life. I am now 15 yrs old and I live in chicago. My house was built 35 years ago.
The following short stories are my experiences:
1st: I would see small black, shadowlike creatures scurry accros the kitchen floor or the living room. Some were like furrballs and others like small 1 or 2 foot people. They were very fast. My sister has also seen them.
2nd: My family was getting ready for bed and i was walking upstairs. At the end of the hall i saw a figure that looked just like my father. I called out to him and he didnt answer. So I came closer and it disappeared. When I came closer I saw that it was a man dressed in a union civil war soldier's uniform. He was holding a sword with both hands just like in civil war pictures. I noticed that the sword was the same as the one my father owns which resides above the fireplace downstairs. My father told me that the union officer that owned it was shot off his horse and a southern soldier took it from him and my father purchased it from one of his descendants.
3rd: I was sitting at my computer in the den at the end of the upstairs hall. It was about 11:00pm. My side was facing the hall, and out of the corner of my eye I saw a white figure. I turned my head and for 2 or 3 seconds I saw what appeared to be a woman in a long flowing gown she was all white. She was kind of floating or flying slowly up the stairs and dwon the hall, she then turned and floated into my sisters room.
4th: Hell Nights-For a period of about 1 or 2 years I oculdnt even sleep because of the hauntings. I would hear books fall or objects move and in the morning nothing would have moved. I would hear voices. One night in particular-"hell night" occured back in 97' on a Sunday night in Dec or Oct, but I forget. I woke up at about 1 or 2 am to a heavy strong, extremely cold wind trying to blow me off my bed. After that, I heard all the objects on my desk moving and a bowl on it swirling as if in a circular motion. I heard voices all around me. I felt a demonic presence. I felt my bed shaking and it lifted off the ground slightly. All the time i was under the covers and trying to plug my ears. I was reciting the lord's prayer over and over. That morning I woke up and I was pale and very sick. I was very shooken up. I had gotten no sleep, I witnessed every minute of it. It was real.
After that there were occasional experiences: such as voices, as clear and real as a living person. At one time in particular my mother and I both heard it. Sometimes lights turn on and off by themselves and other things happen.
I was so sick and tired of having to live wiht this that I began wearing religious medals and putting crucifixes in my bedroom. When something would happen I would curse the spirit out. And it worked most of the time. Today, nothing really happens anymore.
Please tell me what you think of this, what this is and what it means......

Hi Jim,
The second and third events sound like a residual haunting.  That's like a playback of an event that got recorded somehow by the enviroment.  Residual hauntings don't interact with anybody much like the characters on a TV set.  They're completely harmless and you should never worry about them.  As far as the 1st and 4th events go, I'm not sure what that was, however you say it doesn't happen anymore.  If I were you I would take a few precautions to make sure it doen't come back.  The first thing is not to fool with things such as witchcraft or seances.  Another thing is never play with a Ouija board, sometimes a Ouija board can cause problems with unfriendly spirits.  In your letter you said that you've cursed out spirits and they've left you alone.  This often does work, because the house belongs to you, not the spirit.  I hope this helps you out, and feel free to write again.

Q. my house IS haunted. we see orbs in photo's. i'm the only one to see it but i saw a blue mist-like human-shaped object on the landing on my stairs.there is no reasonible explination ,there were no lights on. Steve, 14

Hi Steve,
When I first joined SJGR that is how I saw spirits. They were always whitish-blue, or white with blue edges and not shaped like people at all. It is quite possible you saw a spirit...they are all over but are quite harmless. If you took the pictures with a digital camera or can scan them I would love to see them and put them on the web page.

all my life i have felt weird like someone is always next to me. Like when i sleep over a mates house or something, i go back home the next day and a member of my family have had a bad experience or something goes missing and until i go back home everything dies down and the object that goes missing appears.

It sounds to me like you are very sensitive. You are feeling spirit energy all around you. This is not necessarily a bad thing and there are ways you can  learn  to control and accept it. A. Hi Xavier,
No, there's nothing wrong with you.  It could be your house does have a ghost, and it can't hurt to tell your parents.  If my children were seeing ghosts, I'd want them to tell me.  Please remember that ghosts won't hurt you.  I've had a ghost in my house for the last 25 years, and it's never hurt anybody.  In fact, I've heard of many cases where ghosts actually helped people.  Also don't think you're crazy if your sister doesn't see them.  Some people seem to have a better ability to see ghosts than others.  If you want it to leave, you might try telling it to get out of your house.  If it still keeps happening, I would definitely tell your parents.  I hope this helps you, feel free to write again.
