A. I suggest you talk to your science teacher at school and maybe you can get a group of students together. Also try putting up a poster at your local library about it and set up a meeting. You only need a few things to start, like a notebook and pen, flashlight and camera. A compass can work as well as an emf detector.

Anyway, to answer your questions, yes I have seen ghosts. Mostly they look just like people and stay there only a few seconds. To talk to them just talk like you would talk to a living person. If a ghost is doing something such as opening and closing doors, you can just say something like "Please stop slamming the doors." usually that will work.  I am not sure what you mean by "avenger". I don't really have a specialty. Everyone in my group doese a little bit of everything. Some people are not psychic, but everyone does photography, audio recording, video recording etc....and we have dealt with many different spirits. I would advise against doing any rituals. You never know what type of spirit may contact you. Stay away from ouija boards.  Feel free to write any time:-)

Q. This is true.  That maked the compass needle move is the electromagnetic field around the earth. The needle will naturally point north. When a spirit is present it can disrupt the electromagnetic field and the compass needle will spin. You can use a compass on a ghost hunt the in place of an expensive EMF meter like the ones in the ghost hunting section.

A. Some people do. I have never seen ectoplasm but I have seen orbs several times.  If you are standing next to someone taking a picture you lots of times you can see an orb if you are looking in the direction of the flash when it flashes, not in the direction of the photographer. I knew someone wh would see ectoplasm and point it out to us to take pictures when se saw it. We always got good photos when she did that!!

A. Hmmm...I have never heard of anyone being allergic to ghosts! Maybe that's just the way your body reacts to the spirit energy around you. Some people get headaches, some people get goosebumps...I even knew someone who got a pain in her elbow when a ghost was around.

Q. hi, i am a student working on a project on ghosts and I wanted to ask you a question.
Are most ghosts that we see are real or are we just seeing things? i also wanted to know about the photographs, Are the pictures of the ghosts always real or can they just be because of the sun or from an error with the camera? if you are able to answer my questions, please writie back soon.

Q. Hello,
I'd like to say that I'm very interested in ghosts and have been for a long time.
I always watch the travel channel for the top ten haunted places. I would like to know if there are like classes that people take to become ghost hunters?I have never seen a ghost but I do know that I have been in haunted places. I would one day consider becoming a ghost hunter.

Most reputable groups, such as SJGR, well train you to be an investigator for free. beware of those home study packages you see for sale on the internet. You can  get all of the same information they sell you for free other places on the web. There are not too many schools in the US that have ghost hunting courses.
