Q I have done extensive research into the lives and stories of Ed and Lorraine Warren. I truly find the subject matter fascinating and scary. I myself have investigated places that have been known to be "haunted". I also feel that I am gifted with a "sixth sense" that allows me to feel and see things. I do not know how to refine the sense that I have and therefore can't help anybody. I was wondering if you have any books on your experiences. Or do you just have some stories that you would be willing to share with me. I feel that knowledge is the key to not only helping others, but to understanding what scares everyone, including me! A. Hi Michael,

I agree with you about Ed and Lorraine Warren, their work is both interesting and frightening. I'm sure I could never get into it. I feel that dealing with non-human entities like they do is more than I could handle. We've had some cases where the client either lied to us or withheld information from us during preliminaries, which is the initial interview with a potential client. These cases quickly "went bad" and we were forced to bail out early. Some of our members have even been physically attacked by these entities. I, for one, would prefer to stay away from such cases.

Anne, who runs the Kid's Page, also has another website called "Help For Sensitives" http://helpforsensitives.com/ where she attempts to help people who have psychic gifts to develop these gifts more fully and answer questions they might have. I think this would be an excellent starting spot for you and maybe it will answer all the questions you might have. Q. I have three cats. Sometimes when i sleep on my bed at night, I feel like a
cat jumps up onto the bed and is cleaning itself and is moving around and
licking. But when I look theres nothing there. Or When i look there there
is like folds in the bed like a cats been sleeping there and theres
something moving but i cant actually see anything. There have been cats
that ive had that have died... For instance i had a cat that went missing
and supposebly died and was never found again. I had a cat get run over.
Another put down. Another disappeared.... Could this be some sort of cat
ghost watching over me, a rare ability or is there some scientific
explanation to solve this...?

Another thing is I see the ghostly figures of cats moving around my home
sometimes. I dont see them directly but sort of clear splogy spots in the
shape of cats.....

The following occourances don't happen often....

A. Sure, that could very well be the ghost of a cat that's hanging around your house. I have a friend that has the ghost of his dog still scratching at the basement door once in a while. He says you can still hear him whine now and then. So it's very possible that the things you're seeing and feeling is a cat who likes your house very much and decided to stick around! At least he doesn't eat much! :)

Q. I am a 32 year old mother. I live in an apartment and I have a 2 year old daughter. Sometimes she looks down the hallway in our apartment towards the front door. She gets scared and says "the monster is gonna get me" and won't go out by the door until I go with her and tell her "nothings here baby, what do you see". She answers "the monster". What could she be seeing? If it is a ghost I wonder why she sees it as a monster? I know ghosts come in all shapes and forms but I wish I knew what she was seeing. Help!

A. As you said, ghosts come in all shapes and forms, it's very possible she's seeing something she's never seen before and is calling it a "Monster". We've found that kids often do see ghosts much more than adults because they haven't been conditioned to disbelieve in them by their parents and other adults. Perhaps you'll find she's describing something in the hall such as a painting or a piece of furniture that she's mistaking for a monster.

Can there be ghost's in a house no one had died in?

A. OK...Question 1: No, the only place ghosts harm people are in movies, TV shows, and in scary books, so relax! Question 2: Yes, it's possible for a ghost to be in a house that no one's died in, but before you get scared reread the answer to Question 1.

Q. Hi there im 11 and i live in ohio,i think my house is haunted.But i wanted

to check with someone who has had experiences in that stuff.SSSOOO i thought

id email you.I do have a pictures that ill email you that has orbs,its at my

friends synanagouge,or what ever.it was her wedding and we took some

pictures and i noticed some orbs in them,but when i showed my folks all they

did was laugh and say"aahh ok hunny"they think im nuts!But i get the feeling

A. There's no reason to be scared to go to bed, believe me nothing's going to hurt you. It's normal for someone to be scared of the dark, and if you're thinking a lot about ghosts you soon start thinking there's ghosts lurking everywhere. I was the same way when I was young...if I was reading a book of ghost stories I'd be terrified to go to bed. I didn't need to be scared, though, because I never did see a ghost. I bet you never see one either. Your photograph definitely had some good orbs in it, and that could mean there were ghosts around when it was taken, but it's hard to be sure. I'm sure your parents don't think you're nuts, maybe they don't understand what an orb is, try showing them this web page which has some questions and answers about ghosts and ghost photographs.

Q. Ok, I'm not really a young child, but I found your site, and so I'm going

to email you. I'm 15 by the way. My house is really creepy! Since I was

very young, there has been this little girl that is about 4 years old and

always looks at me and smiles. She smiles and waves then she disappeares.

She's seen my friend too and does the same. She goes between the two of

our hourses. Every onc ina while my friend sees her at her house, and then

late I will see her at my house. Is there a reason she is going between

the two of our houses? She contacted me in my dream and said "I am not

here to harm you!" and then I woke up. I had so many questions to ask her,

but I woke up before I could ask anything. My friend who sees her said

that she had a dream just like that. What is she trying to say? Another

ghost, the same friend has seen around my hosue and I ahve seen her too.

She's a teen and every year, on the last day of school,we both have seen

her at the school and always going in or out of my first period class

room. She has never conatcted me in dreams before. At night, usually when

I'm sad or something bad is going to happen, I feel this heavy hand

touching my shoulder. I usually feel better after I feel tat hand.

Sometimes, it gets really bad thought and I can't move at all because I

feel so heavy. Do you know why or what is happening at that time? That

hand person has contacted me before, and said that they are here tel help

me out, but what was it I have more to say, but can't. Good Night! Thanx

A The ghost of the little girl might be between your two houses because she might have lived near there when she was alive. It's also possible she just likes it there because it's between two girls (you and your friend) that she finds friendly. The dreams you're having are probably just that....dreams. However it's also possible that she's communicating with you while you sleep to assure you she's friendly. I'm wondering if you feel that hand on your shoulder while you're asleep and you wake up and can't move. A.I've seen a lot of pictures of things that might be ghosts but I can't say they're actually ghosts or not. Our website has a lot of pictures of orbs which, we believe, is the energy the spirit is using to manifest itself. Q.Hi my names Sadie and i love to read about ghost.I would like to know if ghosts can come down from hevan right infront of your eyes.My father came down like that.so its true it could happen.Why did it happen.why did he die was it because god needed to make room for more.

Q. I cannot answer your question about why your dad died, that is something God knows and I am sure you'll understand one day. Can ghosts coming down from heaven to visit? Yes they can. I have experienced this often on cases I have worked on. The people in heaven sometimes come back to check on us and sometimes they let us know that they are ok too. Many times they just come down and take a quick look at us and then go back. I have had this happen to me too. My grandmother came back to let me know she was ok.
