A. All of SJGR's members are volunteers and have other jobs. I work in a hospital laboratory. Dave, the director, works at the airport directing planes. Another member, Kathy, is a police officer.  We have members in all kinds of professions. We don't get paid for the work  we do with SJGR.

Q. When is the best time to hunt for ghosts?
What are ghosts attracted to?
Will ghosts answer questions or give signs that they can hear you?

A. Ghosts seem to be more active in the middle of the night to the early morning but I don't think this is a good time for you to ghost hunt. It would be best for you to do it during the day since ghosts are always around. if you do go ghost hunting remember all the rules on the first page of this website, like no tresspassing and making sure an adult knows what you are doing and where you are going.

I don't really know if ghosts are attracted to any one thing. I do think that sometimes the ghosts of children like to be in housed with other kids.

Sometimes ghosts will let you know that they hear you by simply moving an object aroung or making a sound, but not always.

A. In my opinion, some ghosts have a purpose but not all. Some just don't know where they are supposed to go when they die so they stay here with us.

A. Sure can!! Any number of ghosts can haunt a place:-)

A.   Hmmm...Good Question.....I guess I would have to say that they can do either one. Some ghosts have been seen with no legs or feet. I guess those would float. Sometimes we don't see ghosts but can hear their footsteps. I guess those ghosts are walking!

A1. Well, that's the first time I've ever heard a story like that, it's pretty wild.  Have you told your mother or father about it?  If not, I think you should.  I have the feeling they could help you more than I can.  Thanks for writing.

A2. I agree with John. I think you should tell your parents. I know school is out right now but I think when you go back to school you should have a talk with your guidance counselor or your favorite teacher and tell them about the bullying. You shouldn't let a few bullies keep you keep you from having friends. The bullies are usually the ones that end up with no friends. They are usually mean on the outside but very unhappy on the inside. When they act so mean the only friends thay can make are other mean people. I am sure if you hold your head up high and don't let the things they do bother you,  other people will start to notice you more and want to be friends with you. Concentrate on smiling and being friendly around other kids. You'll soon have more friends than you can count, and Iess time for Nigelina. Maybe when Nigelina sees YOU being happy she will be happy too and be able to peacefully find her way back to where she belongs.

   We need help on catching this ghost in my basement but it's to fast to get a picture of. Will you help us?????? please?

 Hi Girls,

Here are a few tips that may help you:

Try to take the picture at night with the lights off.

Make sure you use a flash.

tru using a digital camera.

Take lots and lots of pictures.

Say to the ghost "May I take your picture?"
